The Gunnison doesn't slow down for anyone. Honey Rock Landing does.
Tucked along a quiet bend of the river, inside 130 acres of working organic orchard, this is the place where the canyon opens up and the noise falls away. The Watersports Club is how we share it — a way to put in, paddle, swim, and settle into the land, not just pass a night here.
Membership is what makes the whole experience possible. It's also what keeps this stretch of river, orchard, and pond a private retreat for our members and their guests, rather than an open gate to the public.

Why a Club?
Honey Rock has always been a working fruit orchard first.
As we've opened more of the property to guests — the river, the pond, the orchard rows, the trails — we wanted a way to do it that protects the land and everyone on it.
So we pivoted to a private club.
Joining means we get to walk you through the property, the river, and the few real things to watch for before you arrive, and it lets us keep Honey Rock a members-only immersive retreat instead of a public destination.
It's a small step that opens up the whole place.
How It Works
Becoming a member takes about five minutes:
Join. Choose a weekly or annual membership. One membership covers everyone in your immediate household.
Sign the waiver. A quick online form covering the real risks of a working farm and a wild river. Everyone on the property signs — including the guests you bring and anyone in your care.
Watch the safety video. Two minutes, quick-paced. It walks you through the layout, where to park, where to put in and take out, and the handful of things that matter most out here.
That's it. Once you're in, the orchard and the river are yours to enjoy.
Our most popular way in, and the simplest. Your weekly membership covers everyone in your immediate household and includes:
Booking a stay in the Cave Suites — for you and the guests you bring
Parking at the farm (up to two vehicles)
Put-in and take-out on the Gunnison, right from the property
Paddleboarding on the pond
Watersports classes, including at least one paddleboarding lesson each season
Access to the common areas, trails, and boathouse
U-Pick areas during designated hours
Weekly membership is required to book a suite or camp at Honey Rock — for you and your guests alike. It is included in your reservation rate.
Weekly Membership — $25 / week
Everything in the weekly membership, with the run of the place all year long. Annual members also get to:
Store a limited number of your own water toys at the boathouse
Host private events on the property — weddings, retreats, corporate gatherings, and celebrations (added event fees apply)
Come back as often as you like through the season, no weekly renewal
Already booked a wedding or event with us this year? Your annual membership is on us — you'll just complete the same quick waiver and training video to become a member.
Annual Membership — $500+ / year
On the Property
A quick lay of the land for members:
The river. Put in and take out on the Gunnison directly from the orchard — the same beautiful stretch down to the Bridgeport takeout. Lifejackets on the water, always. No diving.
The pond. Open to all members for paddle boarding and swimming
The boathouse. Your hub for getting on the water. Annual members can store a limited number of their own toys here. (Rental gear is on the way — for now, bring your own or join a class.)
The orchard. Wander the trails and common areas freely. Please stay out of the fruit blocks unless you're with our team — and visit U-Pick areas only during designated hours.
Parking. Trailers and additional cars to be parked away from the boat ramp adjacent to the cherry trees.
Safety & Training
This is a real working farm on a real wild river, and we love it that way.
This two-minute training video covers the layout and the few things worth knowing before you explore — among them the rail line that runs the property, the river's current, the pond, tractors and farm equipment, orchard sprays, livestock and bees, uneven ground and rock, cliffs and holes, electric fencing, the sauna and zipline, and active construction zones.
None of it should keep you from a wonderful stay. Knowing where things are just lets you relax into the place.

Everyone staying with you is covered under your membership, and everyone on the property signs the waiver and watches the short training video — including the folks you bring and anyone in your care.

We'd gently steer you away from it. We do not have full hooks ups or sewer.
The three-mile dirt road in, our remote setting, and limited space make RVs a tough fit.

Fresh fruit and veggies are always available in our Farm Stand Cave on the rock patio.
